Mauricio Deschamps

Mr. Deschamps is a Managing Director and Controller in the Ares Finance and Accounting Department. Prior to joining Ares in 2024, Mr. Deschamps was a Principal and CFO at Walton Street Capital Mexico, where he focused on all finance and accounting responsibilities in real estate investments. Previously, Mr. Deschamps was a Finance Manager at GE Real Estate Mexico, where he focused on finance and accounting in equity and debt portfolios. In addition, Mr. Deschamps held various positions in the Finance Group at GE Real Estate in Mexico. Mr. Deschamps holds a B.S. from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México (UNAM) in Industrial Engineering.
